Rural based country artist Katie Brooke has a unique way of weaving her experience on the land, her vulnerable storytelling and her awe-inspiring vocals into her artistry. This authentic approach has led her to an abundance of success including her single ‘Too Far Down’ being named number 1 most charted song on the Australian Country Radio station for 2023.
The Academy of Country Music (junior and senior) graduate was crowned winner of the Listen Up Music Songwriting Prize - Gold Coast Semi Final in 2023 and is now on the judging panel of the esteemed national songwriting competition.
No stranger to gracing the stages of major festivals such as Tamworth Country Music Festival and Buck Wild Country Barn Sessions, Katie has also opened for huge national acts such as The Black Sorrows and Shannon Noll and household country names such as Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley and recently Josh Setterfield.
At the beginning of 2024 Katie was named brand ambassador for Thomas Cook, Wrangler, Pure Western and Twisted X boots, country brands that complement her distinct, stand-out boho-western style.
As a teenager, Katie launched her career hosting and performing on the iconic Jim Haynes Breakfast Show during Tamworth Country Music Festival. One of her most memorable performances to date was opening the Australian National Finals Rodeo singing on horseback, a rare and notable talent.
A country artist who truly lives and breaths it, Katie grew up on traditional country music and was raised on a beef cattle property in Northern NSW. She continue’s to live on the land to this day believing it’s a fundamental part of staying genuine to who she is as a country artist.
